Spike arrives in Everett Washington!!

 

Spike arrived the other day, and shared great stories of his adventure so far.  He is now in the Northwest, in a town called Everett Washington.  Everett is about 35 miles north of Seattle, and is home to all of the Boeing Wide Body jets.  The Manufacturing plant is the largest building in the world by volume.  Boeing builds the 747, 767, 777 and now the all new 787 at this location.

Everett is also a seaport, many of the parts for Boeing airplanes come by ship to Everett and are transferred to rail cars (trains) and taken to the manufacturing plant.  It also has a navy port where the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln is docked.
